Sofia Kriger - voice
Sofia Kriger is a Brazilian singer and improviser currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from the New England Conservatory with a Bachelor's in Jazz Performance. She has performed in several renowned venues including Jordan Hall, Rosecliff Mansion, Guild Hall, Brown Hall, Boston Public Library, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and Museum of Fine Arts. Sofia is the co-founder of Solos de Ave, a project that aims to disseminate the music of Brazil through exploring, deconstructing and rearranging music from renowned Brazilian composers, through free improvisation and jazz language.

Gustavo D'Amico - soprano sax
Gustavo D’Amico is a saxophonist and composer from São Paulo, Brazil.
His work is based on free improvisation, contemporary music and brazilian folklore. He has performed and recoded with some of the biggest names of Brazilian and American music including Egberto Gismonti, Hermeto Pascoal, Elza Soares, Danilo Pérez, Jason Moran and Terri Lyne Carrington.

Drew Wesely is a guitarist, composer, improvisor, and educator based out of Brooklyn, NY. His music combines elements of his background in jazz with the ferocious rhythmic energy of noise and abstracted lyricism of influences such as Don Cherry, Cecil Taylor and Julius Hemphill. He has performed at a variety of notable venues across the country including NEC’s Jordan Hall, The Lillypad, Outpost 186, Wally’s, Birdland, The Freight and Salvage, The Firehouse Space, and John Zorn’s The Stone.
