-7 Knives

Based in Brooklyn, 7 Knives is an electronic sound artist who's work draws on many different genres to create a unique sound that is at once contemporary and old fashioned. From his early experiments in pure noise and industrial, to his current dabblings in new wave, pop punk, and synth styles, 7 knives has created a sonic soundscape that will have you tapping your foot even while trying to figure out where the sound came from. Familiar, yet foreign, processed and yet, pure, each sound is reminiscent of something not quite remembered correctly. 7 Knives is Patrick Todd, a sculptor and painter based in Brooklyn. www.patricktodd.net 7knives.bandcamp.com

-The Unglued Radio Workshop

The Unglued Radio Workshop is a group of visual artists who present music accompanied by digital sound, sound effects, spoken word, vocals, dada, drama, sudden gyrations in a multi-media atmosphere. The sound is a combination of a roller coaster, toaster, whirlybird, a paint brush, a gas can - and a broken radio that has lost its glue in a forgotten workshop in a strangely stained etching. The group has been performing in various configurations for about 10 years in New York City calling Bushwick home.. The group has one album; "The Zoggily Stude". The current line-up is a follows: Marc Grubstein rhythms, Dieter Kuhn ethereal sound and sound effects, Kevin Laverty on guitar and Max Yawney, vocals.
