Déjà vu? is an experiential event series with ambient music and multi-film screenings. Let's chill out!

Currently, Synesthesia presents Sinejan Kılıç Buchina’s solo show, "From Place to Non-Place" at our gallery space. (Every 6 people can get inside of gallery with masks)

The exhibition and the performance space will open at 6:30 pm and the performance will start at 7 pm. Please, everyone, keep wearing your mask and social distance!

● 7-7:30 pm: Dawoud Kringle
Dawoud the Renegade Sufi is a musician (multi-instrumentalist / composer / improviser / producer) whose genre defying music is inspired by the vast musical traditions from around the world; east and west, acoustic and electronic, modern and ancient. Dawoud uses these varied genres to provide a creative and sacred inspiration, and illuminate a new musical path.

● 8:20-8:50 pm: Rob Cortes
Rob Interface is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Brooklyn who primarily focuses on making live electronic music, with styles ranging from techno and house to ambient and experimental. He makes music using hardware synthesizers and drum machines, with most of it being improvised. He currently performs solo and works with music collectives Warper Party and Bkwildlife. He is also the founder of cult techno/punk band Blak Blondz, a trio that features heavy synth grooves, acid bass lines, distorted vocals, and screaming guitar. He also founded SenseNet, a darkwave/cyberpunk band with a strong retro/80s influence.

● 9 pm-9:30pm: Mt.Borracho
Mt.Borracho is the surrealist A/V Project founded in 2013 by Zach Smith and Cameron Day. The project is influenced by the paranormal, odd suburban void, and recently a diagnostic between humans and 5G cellular. Esoteric sound design via strange post-industrial and techno. Selected for the 2020 SXSW Showcase. Zach Smith presents dark ambient technique for Synesthesia in their NY debut.

● 9:40pm-10:10pm: Project Kandate
Project Kandata is a NYC-based musician and composer. Utilizing Eurorack synthesizer, with which he processes the sounds he collected through field recording, PK explores neuro-physical experience through his ambient, drone, and noise music incorporating multi-layered overtones and inaudible frequency components.

● 10:20pm-10:50pm: TR7
American; Philadelphia based interdisciplinary conceptual audio/ visual artist & composer. TR7's vocabulary delves into social commentary via historical & futurist aesthetic. Installation, video, soundesign, sculptures, essays, are utilities that embodies poetic & abstract narrative for his oeuvre. TR7'S sonic exploration travels from drone , noise, free jazz & experimental hip hop traditions.

○Genevieve HK
Genevieve HK is a projection artist working as 1/2 of the liquid-light performance group known as A Clockface Orange. Using water and oil based liquids on analog projectors, Clockface composes live, organic, "visual music" in collaboration with sound artists and musicians working in all genres and mediums.

○Bradley Eros
Braldey Eros is an artist, experimental filmmaker, mediamystic, maverick curator, sound collage, photographer, expanded cinema,performance, writer & poet, nomadic teacher and private investigator—initiating, exhibiting, & curating at a multitude of ephemeral spaces and long-lasting venues, from micro-cinemas & storefronts to galleries & museums. His work includes intimate collaborations with Aline Mare (Erotic Psyche), Jeanne Liotta (Mediamystics), the Alchemical Theatre, Circle X, and kinoSonik.; intense research with Jeanne Liotta on the films of Joseph Cornell. He has created dozens of ‘zines, posters, soundtracks, unique artist’s books, and film performances in the unfixed universe of ephemeral cinema.
