An evening of Live Chill Out Music, Avant Garde, Exotica, Lounge, Electronica and video Projections by three solo artists.
Featuring Lauren Lee, Damien Olsen and Jeremy Slater.


Lauren Lee :


A native of the St. Louis (MO) metropolitan area, her foray into creative music began as a teenager in the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, an experience that lead her on a wild goose chase of sorts to find her own sound in the adventurous music scene as a young innovator in a special brand of improvisation she calls “Vocal Instrumentalism”. Likened to female jazz pioneers that came before her like Carla Bley and Jen Shyu, Lee’s music has been described as, “equal parts hip jazz, avant adventure, and… something completely different” (John Pietaro, Dissident Arts). Her work intentionally inhabits this place of “between”, and in Lee’s case, the “between” is nestled between where jazz has been and where jazz is going. Her work is praised for both her creative takes on jazz standards and her adventurous yet accessible original music and has performed across North and South America, Europe, and Asia as both a bandleader and sidewoman.






Damien Olsen:

Musician and Visual Artist .


Besides of leading an accomplished life long career in visual arts that features Sculpture, Painting and Photography Damien Olsen works in a wide range of electronic music genres; from Avant Jazz to Dance and Lounge music. Studied Composition and Jazz Guitar with Finnish Composer Raoul Bjorkenheim .
Scored live soundtracks for the last two years at Film Noire Cinema in Greenpoint Brooklyn. He has performed in most venues of The City of Florianopolis and Bahia ( Brazil ) and Downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn and recorded and produced a significant discography that involves more than 20 tittles. Since the early 70s Piano and Guitar are his main instruments and by the middle 90s he started playing bass guitar and electronic instruments ( various synthesizers, samplers, loopers and computers )

Jeremy Slater

( ), Jeremy D. Slater is an intermedia artist and performer creating compositions consisting of environmental sound, ambient noise,
sequencing, drones, guitar, and ambient/reactive video. ( ) creates single and multiple channel videos for screening and installations with sound and ephemeral sculpture. ( ) is a member of Plan 23, Principle String Quartet, ROTC (Rubaiyats of the Cicadas), Frogwell, and tū. ( ) has performed in the United States, Canada, England, Germany, France, Italy, South Korea, and Japan.
